Corona isnโt positioned to hit hardcore sports fans. Theyโre for the leaned-back sports viewers, those of us who are just there for the hot dogs and good vibes. We found a few fun ways to bring Coronaโs sports ambassadors into our laidback world, while giving fans opportunities to interact and win on social.

What started as an ask to fulfill contractual talent posts, developed into the most impactful organic talent activation the brand had seen on social. Cโmon, itโs Jayson Tatum, how could we not? Living the Corona Fine Life requires confidence, something Tatum exudes with ease. It made him the perfect teammate and wingman to help Corona fans shoot their own shot for Valentineโs Day. We dropped a CTA for fans to tell us about their V-Day plans, then Jayson and his trainer, Nick Sang, teamed up to score them and give fansโ their tips and tricks for dating success.

Nobodyโs chiller than Melo. We had the basketball icon challenge fans to a game of C-O-R-O-N-A. Itโs like H-O-R-S-Eโฆonly Melo-er. Fans could โplayโ by shooting their own versions of Meloโs trick shots and posting them to social. Fun fact: This was shot in Rockaway Beach, NYC where I was born. I saved Production $500+ by staying at my auntโs house.
