❤️ THE VALENTINE’S DAY FACTORY ❤️

As the Social AOR for Facebook, we were tasked with creating opportunities for “meaningful engagements” and positive conversations on the platform.

Valentine’s Day is one of Facebook’s most active days, and we wanted to give users a way to celebrate their loved ones in a special, personalized way. The Valentine’s Day Factory, a Facebook Live event, allowed users to request handmade cards for a loved one and see them made in real time by 1 of 14 local LA artists. They would drop a few details about the person they wanted a card for in the comments of our live, and we would assign the idea to an artist that felt right to bring it to life.

I developed the idea with my team, the run of show and all of its components, inclusive of branding, key assets, artist selection, propping and community management responses. Users received a digital version of their card in the comments and the original piece of art in the mail.

Individual hand-painted, spray-painted and digital art were created in real-time for users requesting a custom Valentine.

We partnered with our digital creators to create social content that promoted the live event and celebrated the day.

THE RESULTS

❤️ over 1 million views, 8,000 reactions, 1,700 comments, and 2,200 shares

❤️ 350 unique CARDS MADE, THOSE WHO DIDN’T GET A UNIQUE CARD GOT A PRE-MADE CARD
